This is the movie studio theme park in Kyoto called the Toei Uzumasa Eigamura (Movie Village). Albeit scaled down, this is Japan's answer to Universal Studios where over 200 period dramas are filmed annually. Here a park actor is seen with a youngster who was visiting with his family.
