| This is well known Japanese artist Takashi Murakami with his creation Reversed Double Helix, at the Lucky Wide foundry in Kawaguchi City where he constructed it. Nicknamed Tongari-kun, a slang word for pointy-head, this 30 foot (14 meter) statue looks like a metamorphosed frog with several hands and eyes. Shortly after being constructed it was displayed at New York’s Rockefeller Center in the Fall of 2003. |
